Private Coaching
My goal is to provide each client with the tools and support to become more fluent and expressive with the English language. Whether we focus on grammar and vocabulary, accent reduction or general communications skills, we'll approach the process with diligence and respect, take meaningful risks, and try new things.
The coaching process begins with a preliminary discussion of the client's or student's needs, followed by a written and verbal skills assessment and a preferred learning styles assessment, to determine the appropriate structure for the coaching program.

For those who would like a six-week, introductory training, I offer "Communications for E.F.L. (English as a Foreign Language) Professionals." This course emphasizes:
- English vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.
- Accent reduction, verbal dexterity and natural conversation.
- Business writing, with an emphasis on e-mail communications.
- Professional presence, including body language and vocal projection.
What can you expect from Academic Coaching?
- Significantly improved reading comprehension and vocabulary.
- Explicit instruction in academic writing styles, writing techniques and grammar.
- Reading lists containing cannonical and contemporary literature.
- Expert instruction for the critical reading/writing sections of the SAT.
- College admissions essay coaching and guidance.
- Consistent feedback on your child's progress.
Where does coaching take place?
- All Windhorse Writing instruction takes place at the student's home or, when employer-sponsored, at the client's workplace.
